He led Felipe Giaffone (Hollywood/Cafe do Ponto/Banco Sofisa Lola) across the finish line by .373 of a second while Sea-Doo/Ski Doo Pole winner Tony Renna (Alco Capital Group/The Nassi Group Lola) finished third behind his winning Mattco Raceworks teammate. Renna won the pole in Friday's qualifying with a new track record of 187.668 mph (38.922 seconds) on the 2.029 mile superspeedway.
